I usually hate documentaries. It's been a decade since I watched The Century of the Self. I remember finding it thought-provoking and sometimes insightful, but also frustratingly full of sweeping, hard to evaluate claims. I was left doubting the narrator. Recently, I've heard a couple of interviews with Adam Curtis, and they made me take him more seriously. I now want to spend more time with him. The interviews were: * [Talking Politics](https://www.listennotes.com/podcasts/talking-politics/adam-curtis-ptjI7Lq5Fes/) * [Under the Skin](https://www.listennotes.com/podcasts/under-the-skin/172-cant-get-him-out-of-my-jBxWoUX4QkN/) See also: [[Agnes Callard]] on aspiration.
